The world’s most advanced vertical wind tunnel designed in Latvia by Aerodium, inspired a team of Latvian architects from Mailitis A.I.I.M. to make the Latvia Pavilion an architectural masterpiece. More than 100 000 colourful, transparent, 15×15 cm plastic plates shimmer and flutter in the wind. The vibrating facade creates a sensation of dynamism and vitality. The Latvian pavilion and its Technology of Happiness touches all our senses – light, sound and motion.
