The Ventspils Electronics Factory is one of the three most technologically progressive manufacturing facilities in Northern Europe. It is home to one of the world’s most modern electronics production lines, with a production capacity of up to 60 000 high-precision surface components per hour.
The company has incorporated modern optical inspections, logistics and information technologies in its production plant, and set up nitrogen atmosphere soldering systems, which ensure an environmentally friendly and lead-free soldering process. Its advanced technological equipment places it among the 10 most modern electronics contract producers in the Baltic and Nordic countries.
The Ventspils Electronics Factory is a subsidiary of Hanzas elektronika, Ltd., which was founded specifically for the purpose of initiating the high-tech production of electronics components in Ventspils.
