Stenders was founded in 2001 with one clear mission: to create superb, natural products that people can use every day. Hand-made according to unique, original recipes, the bath and body products by Stenders are in a class by themselves. The company revives ancient Latvian recipes but doesn’t shy away from borrowing the best from other countries’ traditions. With a cachet all its own, Stenders swiftly became wildly popular in the Baltics and then continued its triumphant expansion abroad.
The Stenders Soap Factory creates more than 70 different soaps and a range of related products – bath oils, milks and salts, extracts and foams, essential oils, massage lotions, and accessories for the bath and sauna. These common items become uncommonly superior when made by warm, caring hands. Such simple things can do wonders to create a harmonic environment that relieves stress and brings peace to the mind and heart, a philosophy that Stenders follows in its shops.
