A photo gallery of landscapes from Latvian National Parks has been featured on the webpage of the international project " Wild Wonders of Europe".
On the website, a Spanish photographer Diego Lópes presents photos of Latvian nature taken in National Parks in Kemeri, Slītere, Moricsala, Ukri and other protected areas. The photographer has titled his gallery "A Visual Love Affair with Nature in Latvia".
A photo of Kemeri bog forest is among 27 photos of 'European Treasures of Nature' featured in the National Geographic magazine's May issue. Latvian nature is unique in its own ways and an invaluable source for explorers.
The project "Wild Wonders of Europe" was launched in May 2008 and has a team of 69 renown photographs travelling around Europe and taking photos of the beauty of Nature.
